The Chambers Project.

A Bright, Functional, Family Friendly Kitchen

Designed for a young family, the Chambers Project focused on transforming a dated kitchen into a space that was stylish, practical, and family friendly. The original layout included an awkward corner pantry that disrupted flow and limited usable counter space. By removing it, we were able to open up the room and create a longer, more functional work surface—instantly improving how the space feels and functions.

As with every project, we began by developing a custom concept to help the homeowners visualize the transformation. This detailed design plan gave them confidence in the direction and ensured that every choice aligned with their needs and style.

We added a built-in garbage and recycling unit to the island—an easy-access solution that keeps daily life running smoothly. The cabinetry combines painted uppers and stained lowers to strike the perfect balance between lightness and warmth, creating a palette that feels both modern and timeless.

Durable, warm-toned tile flooring was selected for its ease of maintenance—ideal for quick clean-ups in a busy family friendly kitchen. Updated lighting, including bold fixtures above the island, added personality while tying the space together with the rest of the home.

The Chambers Project is a perfect example of family friendly design: functional upgrades, thoughtful details, and a style that reflects how the family truly lives.

It’s a space made for real life—elevated!
